I’ve been fortunate to attend Outside Lands for the past several years, sometimes taking for granted that we have a major independent music festival in the heart of San Francisco, surrounded by the trees and ocean mist of Golden Gate Park. It was another great year with an especially deep lineup, with a personal highlight of finally getting to see Bon Iver perform live. But with festival season wrapping up, it’s time to dig into some of the new music being released. Mitski’s followup album to Puberty 2<\/i> is out. It’s called Be The Cowboy<\/i> and it’s spectacular. I’ve included a track from that album on this new playlist, along with new singles from Jungle, Blood Orange, We Were Promised Jetpacks, Rubblebucket, and more. Check it out below.<\/p>\n
