I’m loving the new releases we’ve been getting this fall, with incredible new albums from some of my recently favorite artists and a number of new singles worth checking out. After already releasing an amazing album in May, Big Thief dropped an another incredible album Two Hands<\/em> in October. Irish artist Dermot Kennedy released his first official LP and just finished his east coast tour with a bigger tour kicking off early next year. Great Grandpa, Chromatics, and Diiv also just released new LPs in October. And checkout the new singles from Perfume Genius, Wolf Parade, Beck, and Destroyer amongst others. My friend Tomo Nakayama also released a single “Crows” with Sera Cahoone worth checking out to benefit the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Legal Services (RAICES). I did manage to see a few live shows in October, including Joseph Arthur at The Chapel, Vampire Weekend with Soccer Mommy at Bill Graham, and Big Thief with Palehound at The Fillmore in SF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
